Christopher practises in commercial law, particularly insolvency, banking and finance, corporations and securities, and equity. Prior to coming to the Bar, Christopher was a solicitor in the litigation department at Clayton Utz.

Christopher has an extensive business background and holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School. Prior to entering the legal profession, Christopher worked in management positions in the IT industry and the finance industry.

On coming to the Bar, Christopher read with Philip Crutchfield QC. He has since appeared in many commercial matters in all jurisdictions but mostly appears in trials and interlocutory hearings in the Supreme Court, Federal Court and the Federal Circuit Court. Christopher is a co-author of Australian Corporation Law Principles and Practice (LexisNexis) and Bankruptcy Law and Practice (LexisNexis). He is also a full member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA).

Christopher is a nationally accredited mediator and is available as a mediator in most areas of commercial law.
