Andrew has an extensive practice covering all aspects of intellectual property law, including related trade practices law. He predominantly practises in the Federal Court of Australia. He is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia & New Zealand and the Copyright Society of Australia.
James Samargis, Deputy Chair
James has a strong interest in technology and design with a science background (physics). He is a patent attorney (electrical/mechanical) and trade mark attorney.
He serves on the IP&IT committee of the Commercial Law Section of the Law Institute and is a director of Craft Victoria, the peak State body for designer-makers.
Luke Merrick, Assistant Secretary
Tom Cordiner is a registered Australian Patent Attorney and Trade Marks Attorney. His practice is divided between intellectual property law, commercial/corporations law and some administrative law, though he has also acted in other areas including professional negligence.
