Michael O'Bryan QC, Chair
Michael's practice as a solicitor concentrated on corporate law and trade practices law. His corporate law experience includes public company takeovers and capital raisings as well as broader issues of director's duties, corporate governance and compliance with listing rules. His trade practices experience includes merger advice, authorisations, defence of ACCC prosecutions and compliance strategies. In addition, Michael's practice encompassed commercial law advice and intellectual property advice, as well as administrative law advice to a range of governmental and statutory authorities.
Daniel Clough, Deputy Chair and Monitor
Daniel practises in commercial law and public law. He has particular expertise in competition law and is a member of the Trade Practices Committee of the Law Council of Australia. He was a director in the Telecommunications Branch of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, a Senior Associate in the competition group of Allens Arthur Robinson and Associate to Sir Gerard Brennan, then Chief Justice of the High Court.
